He graduated from the Moscow State University of Railway Engineering in 1977.

Mr Olkhovik worked as the Deputy CEO for the Renova CJSC Forecast Planning & Operations Management Department. Evgeny was appointed the SUAL OJSC Finance & Economics Department Chief Officer in 1996.

He was appointed the SUAL OJSC Corporate Development Department CEO in 1999.
